Graha Shanti & Mahamrityunjay Pooja in Lucknow
Families turn to a shanti pooja at difficult moments — when a horoscope reading points to a troubled graha, when a family member is unwell, or when a run of setbacks makes the elders want to do something. Navgraha Shanti Havan is offered to the nine grahas; Maha Mrityunjay Jaap is the chanting of the mantra to Bhagwan Shiv for protection and long life; Rudra Yagya and Laghu Rudrabhishek seek Shiv's blessing through the Rudri. These are prayers, offered with faith, alongside medical care and never in place of it.

The right shanti depends on why you are doing it, and usually on the advice of a jyotishi the family trusts. Bring that recommendation to us; the pandit will follow it, fix the muhurat, and explain how long the jaap or yagya takes and how many pandits it needs. The listings below draw on the havan and yagya options and on Rudrabhishek, each with its indicative starting price.

Before you bookWhat to know
If a jyotishi has suggested a particular shanti — Navgraha, a single graha, or Mahamrityunjay jaap of a set count — share the recommendation exactly as given. The pandit performs the vidhi accordingly; Hari Event does not prescribe remedies of its own.
Mahamrityunjay jaap is counted in repetitions. A sava lakh jaap is divided among pandits and completed over several days, usually with a havan at the end. Agree the count and the schedule first, so the family knows when to be present for the sankalp and the purnahuti.
If the pooja is for a family member in hospital or recovering at home, the sankalp can be taken in their name with a relative sitting as yajman. Keep the pooja calm and short near the patient, and well away from any medical equipment if it is at home.
Many families prefer shanti poojas quietly, with only close family present. Tell us so, and we will keep the setup simple — no décor, no sound, no large gathering — and plan the pandits' arrival and departure discreetly around the household.

FAQQuestions people ask
Which shanti pooja should we do?
That depends on the purpose and usually on your jyotishi's advice. Share it in the request; the pandit will explain the options — Navgraha Shanti Havan, Mahamrityunjay jaap, Rudra Yagya or Rudrabhishek — and what each involves.
Does the family need to be present for the whole jaap?
No. For a long jaap, the family usually sits for the sankalp at the start and for the havan and purnahuti at the end, while the pandits complete the count in between. The pandit will tell you when you need to be there.
Can the pooja be done in a hospital?
Hospitals do not allow fire or gatherings. The usual practice is to take the sankalp in the patient's name and perform the pooja at home or at a temple, with a relative sitting as yajman.
